The Education Passport
The Education Passport supports the sharing of information about your child’s learning with their chosen post-primary school.
It brings together the perspectives of pupils, parents and the school. This information is collated and forwarded to the new school to help support a smooth transition.
Getting to know secondary school
We offer information sessions with secondary schools in our catchment area to help pupils become familiar with their new school’s layout, rules and expectations.
These sessions help pupils prepare for a different learning environment and understand what to expect.
Supporting a confident transition
The transition process encourages independence, self-confidence and a sense of belonging.
Open communication between pupils, parents and school staff helps children feel supported as they prepare for this change.
